"Animal Hospital" Week

An animal hospital has taken over the art studio! Veterinarians, pets and owners will be filling up the shop. Campers are encouraged to bring their stuffed 'pet' with them this week. Pets can be placed in the kennels before going into the vet exam room. Pets can also enjoy some pampering at our very own groom station. Campers can check in at the receptionist and book an appointment. Vets will examine pets, give checkups, weigh, measure, and take the occasional Xray! Groomers will use the hose, shampoo, brush, and trim pets so they look their best. Measuring cups and spoons can be found in the sensory table this week and play dough dog treats will need to be made. Pet themed crafts will make this week tons of fun!

Our mini camp is much more than arts and crafts; it is an immersive experience! Each week leans heavily on the theme with the entire space designed with dramatic play in mind. Each day campers will create a themed craft, engage in a STEAM activity, have time in a themed sensory area and take part in play that enriches imagination and learning. We also have an amazing fenced-in outdoor space used to play games, garden, and flex our creative muscles.
